Northern Kentucky school annouces closure

A school in Fort Thomas will close its doors for good after 77 years.

St. Catherine of Siena – which serves students from kindergarten through eighth grade – notified parents and staff of the news on March 24, following a meeting about the future of the Catholic school.

The loss will certainly have an impact on the families of current students and those who had planned to enroll at the school. According to St. Catherine’s website, it’s one of the most affordable schools in the Diocese of Covington. And in the last five years, 35% of the students have placed in the top 10 for the Diocese’s placement test…
