MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) – A man was arrested after he allegedly struck a child on their bike in Greater Cincinnati and fled the scene, leaving the child hospitalized in critical condition.
According to a release from the Middletown Division of Police, officers received a report of a crash at Breiel Blvd. and Lefferson Road involving a “juvenile on a bicycle.” Investigators quickly learned the suspect who struck the child had fled the scene.
“Upon officers’ arrival, the juvenile was found to be suffering from potentially life-threatening injuries and was transported to Atrium Medical Center,” police said. “The juvenile was then transferred to Cincinnati Children’s Hospital via CareFlight, where the child is currently in critical, but stable condition.”…
