FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (WXIX) – A resident was treated for smoke inhalation at an early morning house fire in Northern Kentucky, a fire official tells FOX19 NOW.
It happened in the 2500 block of Avon Drive in Fort Mitchell, where flames broke out shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday, according to a Kenton County dispatch supervisor.
The resident was already out when crews arrived, said Assistant Fire Chief David Jansing. They treated him on scene for smoke inhalation and released him.
The fire was in the attic and walls, but is now out and remains under investigation, according to dispatch.
