Showers and Storms More Likely Thursday

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Our warm and windy pattern continues into Thursday. Temperatures will start in the mid 60s, and with a little more cloud cover, afternoon highs will be in the mid and upper 70s. A weak disturbance will increase our shower and storm chances throughout the day, and there is a MARGINAL (1 out of 5) risk that some of these storms could be severe. Damaging winds will be the main concern. Showers and storms will wind down Thursday evening.

We may see a bit of fog Friday morning, but overall it looks like a very warm day with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80s. Enjoy the warm temperatures because big changes are coming Saturday.

Saturday will start mild, but showers and storms will move through by mid afternoon out ahead of a cold front. Some of the storms could be strong. The rain pushes out of our area by late evening and cooler temperatures move in. Sunday will be sunny and much cooler, with morning lows in the upper 40s and afternoon highs near 60…
