Cincinnati to host first Walk to End Bladder Cancer to raise awareness, support patients

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – Bladder cancer survivors and local health leaders are rallying the Cincinnati community for the city’s first Walk to End Bladder Cancer, aiming to build support for patients and raise awareness about symptoms and treatment options.

Gary Gruber, a bladder cancer survivor helping promote the event, said support can make a major difference for people facing the disease. “Support is so important when you have this disease. That’s what we’re hoping to do is try to find more support among the community with people that have this disease,” Gruber said.
