Taste of Cincinnati draws crowds as safety remains top priority

CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Hundreds of thousands of people headed downtown this holiday weekend as several events kicked into full swing, with Taste of Cincinnati drawing large crowds to the heart of the city.

Assistant Fire Chief Matt Flagler from the Cincinnati Fire Department said visibility is a key focus for first responders working the events.

“It is important that people who come to not only Taste of Cincinnati but any event this weekend can see first responders and feel comfortable being here,” Flagler said.
