Chud the Builder Bond Reduced to $1M, Crypto Company Offers to Pay

*A reported third-party offer to secure a $1 million bond for livestreamer Chud the Builder has added a new layer of attention to his ongoing Tennessee legal case, which is also moving forward to a grand jury review.

The development comes as Dalton Eatherly, known online as Chud the Builder, remains in custody following a court appearance in Montgomery County on May 21. During that hearing, a judge reduced his bond from $1.25 million to $1 million while allowing the case tied to the courthouse shooting to proceed through the grand jury system.

The case centers on an incident outside the Montgomery County Courthouse in Clarksville, where authorities allege a confrontation escalated and ended in gunfire. Prosecutors say both Eatherly and another man, identified as disabled veteran Joshua Fox, were injured during the encounter.
