Springfield residents will now have fewer restrictions regarding what they can discuss during public comment periods at Board of Mayor and Aldermen meetings, following a resolution approved by city officials last week.
At their monthly meeting on May 19, the Springfield BOMA unanimously voted in favor of a resolution amending the city’s public comment policy, adopted by Ordinance 23-21.
