HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – The Hopkinsville Police Department has provided an update regarding a homicide investigation that was initiated this week.
On May 29, HPD said a suspect has been taken into custody in connection to the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Jordan Jones. A statement from police says, “This remains an active and ongoing investigation, and no further information can be released at this time.”
Just before 12:30 p.m. on May 27, HPD and emergency crews responded to a subject who was shot at the 1200 block of Walnut Street near East 12th Street. Jones was found with a single gunshot wound to the chest, actively bleeding inside a vehicle…
