Middle Tennessee woman charged for allegedly sending threats, stalking Tennessee politician, TBI says

PLEASANT VIEW, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Middle Tennessee woman is facing a slew of charges after she allegedly stalked a Tennessee politician and one of their relatives, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The TBI said special agents began working with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Office of Homeland Security on May 12 to investigate threats and harassing messages that were sent to a Tennessee politician and one of their relatives on social media.

The investigation led authorities to determine that Elizabeth Leopard, 23, of Pleasant View, was the person responsible for sending the messages, the TBI said…
