Hundreds of people gathered Saturday afternoon at the Greenway Amphitheater for Pride in the Park, organized by the Human Rights Commission of Hopkinsville-Christian County that marked one of the city’s most significant public Pride events in decades.
The free event, held from 1 to 3 p.m. behind the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library, featured local vendors, food trucks, community organizations, live entertainment and an open mic session designed to create a welcoming atmosphere for attendees of all ages.
