A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for wanton endangerment and burglary crimes on Friday.
Twenty-four-year-old Austin Burns, 35-year-old Shannelle Bailey and 48-year-old Tina Burns all of Oak Grove were indicted on six counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after six children in their care were reportedly living in poor conditions following a welfare check on April 28. According to law enforcement, the house the children were living in had mold, holes in the floor, exposed electrical wires, an empty refrigerator and no electricity for the past four years.
Twenty-eight-year-old Cierra Simpson of Clarksville was indicted for a series of charges after she was reportedly operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance and was also in possession of controlled substances. She was indicted on two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment, 10 counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of a controlled substance and other lesser offenses…
