The Clarksville City Council is continuing to struggle with its proposed 2026-27 budget, rejecting a first reading of the document for a fourth time by one vote during its most recent meeting this week.
The latest proposal included a $1.03 property tax rate, up 11 cents from the current 92-cents per $100 of assessed value.
