A resolution is still up in the air in the case against murder suspect Anthony Moore, who appeared alongside his defense attorney in Christian Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
Moore himself entered a motion requesting that he receive a mental health evaluation, but Moore has already undergone an evaluation for competency to stand trial before. His attorney, Daniel Sherman, informed the court that he did not file the motion for a reevaluation because nothing about his client makes him think a new one needs to be done.
Moore was found competent to stand trial by the last evaluation conducted by the Kentucky Correctional Psychiatric Complex, and Sherman says they accept that result but still contend that Moore ‘lacked capacity’ at the time of the death of Cicara Chantel James…
