Kayakers, dog rescued from Red River in Robertson County

ADAMS, Tenn. (WSMV) – Rescue teams reportedly pulled a pair of kayakers and their dog from a river under nightfall in Adams, Tennessee, on Thursday.

According to a report from Smokey Barn News, the Adams Fire Department was alerted to stranded kayakers and a dog on the Red River around 9 p.m.

Adams Fire told Smokey Barn that the kayakers had stayed out on the water too long, and when things became dark, they were unable to navigate the river without flashlights…
