My name is Brian Hooper, and I am asking for your support to serve as the next Sheriff of Houston County. I have dedicated the past 30 years of my life to law enforcement because I believe serving others is more than a career, it is a calling.
Throughout my career, I have served in corrections, patrol, criminal investigations, school safety, leadership, and administration. I have worked for the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, Erin Police Department, McEwen Police Department, and currently serve as an investigator with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Those experiences have given me the knowledge, leadership, and relationships needed to effectively lead our Sheriff’s Office from day one.
My wife, Joy, and I have been married for more than 20 years, and we are blessed with three children: Dillan (Madison) Boone, Makenna (Houston) Lewis , and Jace. Houston County has been our home for more than 26 years. We attend Erin Church of the Nazarene, and our faith and our family have always been the foundation of our lives.
