WHITES CREEK, Tenn. (WSMV) – A fatal crash involving semi-trucks shut down Interstate 24 West near Whites Creek on Thursday morning.
The crash was reported just after 10 a.m., according to the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s SmartWay map. The blockage was reported at Old Hickory Boulevard near mile marker 40.6.
Metro Nashville Police confirmed just before 11 a.m. that the crash was fatal.
Police say the wreck involved three semi-trucks with trailers, and one of the drivers died. The condition of the other two drivers is unknown…
