After years of only being a concept, years of discussions and debates and planning and renderings on a screen, the new Christian County High School was made truly official Thursday morning, with a ribbon cutting and a heart felt ceremony.
You could feel the excitement in the air, as students were already gathering in the gymnasium and the halls, looking at their new school with a sense of awe and pride. CCHS Principal Ken Carver says when presented with the idea of the school long before it began taking shape, a student doubted whether it would happen.
He says she wasn’t the only one, but now, this new state-of-the-art facility is a reality, and it’s time to show the community and the students that it’s not where you started—it’s where you will go…
