A night of 1920s glamour, classic cinema and community support is coming to Hopkinsville as the Friends of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Public Library host a Gatsby Gala on Aug. 28 at The Showbox Theater.
The fundraiser will combine the atmosphere of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Jazz Age world with an evening built around supporting the local public library. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with a screening of The Great Gatsby beginning at 7 p.m.
