Several parents of students in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System are challenging a district policy they say limits healthcare providers’ access to classrooms.
On Monday, Aug. 24, frustrated parents gathered outside the CMCSS District office in Clarksville to raise concerns about new requirements for outside providers seeking to support students in district schools.
In response to new state regulations, the group claims the local district went too far with its own requirements, creating barriers for community providers to work with CMCSS to meet needs of the students.
