Local grand jury issues indictments for abuse, endangerment crimes

A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for criminal abuse and wanton endangerment crimes on Friday.

Twenty-nine-year-old Logan Joiner of Hopkinsville was indicted for second-degree criminal abuse of a child under 12 years of age after he reportedly caused physical injury to a child on April 18 and 20.

Thirty-five-year-old Jermaine Ogburn of Hopkinsville was indicted for multiple charges after he got into a domestic dispute and reportedly struck the victim on July 2. He was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, intimidating a participant in a legal process, fourth-degree assault, resisting arrest, menacing and alcohol intoxication in a public place…
