4 road infrastructure projects going before County Commission, includes $4.7M project

CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Montgomery County Government is looking for the County Commission to authorize the execution of four road infrastructure projects during the month of September. This includes one project that the county received $4.7 million for from the State of Tennessee for State Route 374.

According to the County Commission’s informal September agenda, the four road infrastructure projects include:

  • State Route 374 from State Route 76 / US 79 to Dotsonville Road.
  • State Route 49 project.
  • Excell Road intersection project.
  • Attaway and Seven Mile Ferry Road project.

State Route 374 to Dotsonville Road

According to county documents obtained by Clarksville Now, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) allocated funding to Montgomery County in the amount of more than $4.7 million for the State Route 374 project.
