An investigation is underway after a man was shot in Oak Grove early Sunday morning.
First responders were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of Mandarin Drive just before 4:45 a.m. Sunday where a man had walked up to a residence and knocked on the door, asking for help. The 32-year-old male victim told the homeowner he had been robbed and assaulted.
That’s according to Hopkinsville Fire and EMS Captain Payton Rogers, who tells WHOP News that EMS arrived to find that the victim had sustained at least one gunshot wound and had an injury to his head.
