CARROLL COUNTY, Tenn. (WBBJ) – A grand jury in Carroll County has indicted the bus driver involved in a March crash that killed two Kenwood Middle School students traveling on a school field trip.
Court documents filed in Carroll County Circuit Court show Sabrina Ducksworth faced three charges, including vehicular homicide, in connection with the March 27, 2026, collision on Highway 70.
According to the indictment returned by the grand jury and filed in mid-September, she received indictments on 2 of 3 counts:
- Failure to Exercise Due Care — Alleges Ducksworth failed to keep the motorized vehicle under proper control on Highway 70, striking an occupied vehicle and endangering others.
- Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic — Accuses Ducksworth of failing to maintain a single lane and leaving the roadway.
