Plans have been in the works for several projects with county government and some are starting to take shape, as a massive communications upgrade efforts wraps up and magistrates set their sights on Commerce Park II.
Speaking with WHOP Radio recently, Christian County Judge-Executive Jerry Gilliam highlighted some actions that happened during a recent Fiscal Court meeting, including an update from Christian County Emergency Management Director Randy Graham regarding upgrades to the local radio system for first responders.
And that has been quite the undertaking, as Graham has had to manually update roughly 1,100 individual radios in the county, from law enforcement to fire departments and everyone in between.
