Residential electronics recycling comes to Tennessee county

Cheatham County, Tennessee, has partnered with City eWaste, Franklin, Tennessee, to launch free electronics drop-off at two county convenience centers in Pegram and Ashland City, Tennessee.

The program gives more than 40,000 Cheatham County residents a place to drop off electronics, including televisions, computers, phones, printers, routers and small appliances. Residents can bring their electronics to either center during regular hours for drop off.

Cheatham County is the third Tennessee county to partner with City eWaste on free convenience center drop-offs, joining Williamson and Rutherford Counties. In 2026, residents of those two counties have recycled more than 600,000 pounds of electronics through the program, helping to divert materials like copper, aluminum and precious metals from the landfill…
