Nearly three years after the shooting, a Montgomery County jury found Danyon Lydell Dowlen, 52, guilty of first-degree murder after a four-day trial.

Nash said the evidence included surveillance footage of Dowlen with a firearm, witness testimony, and forensic examination of Dowlen’s cell phone, which revealed an intent to kill Gray prior to the shooting.
