A Kentucky woman found sleeping behind the wheel of a vehicle in a field had more than an unusual parking spot for deputies to investigate. The Christian County Sheriff’s Office says deputies found suspected crack cocaine inside a lip balm container before another discovery was made after she arrived at the jail.
Deputies were called to Pembroke Fairview Road at approximately 6:24 p.m. on October 2 to check on a vehicle sitting in a field. Inside, they found 63-year-old Hopkinsville resident Genise Guynn-Day asleep in the driver’s seat.
According to the sheriff’s office, Guynn-Day admitted she had consumed wine earlier that day and showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
