Governor Andy Beshear says construction is underway on all 953 affordable rental units included in Kentucky’s largest housing development initiative, with five of the 11 apartment developments already accepting tenants.
During his Thursday Team Kentucky update, Beshear said the $220 million initiative announced in June 2024 continues to make progress toward addressing the housing shortage left by the December 2021 tornado outbreak.
