Robertson County residents and surrounding communities are invited to travel back in time this weekend as they journey to Ridgetop to experience one of the largest Civil War reenactments in Middle Tennessee.
From Oct. 23-25, the City of Ridgetop is hosting the annual Morgan on the Rim at Ridgetop Station Park, located at 1954 Woodruff Ave. The immersive historical experience, filled with hundreds of military and civilian reenactors from the 1860s, will allow visitors of all ages an opportunity to see a piece of local history come alive.
During the three-day living history event, guests will be able to witness one of the weekend’s highlights in the Civil War reenactment Battle at Dead Horse Trestle, featuring a number of infantry and artillery demonstrations, and based on an actual skirmish that took place in Ridgetop on Oct. 31, 1863…
