Clarksville, TN – Two people were rescued from a burning vehicle Friday afternoon after a police pursuit ended in a violent crash in Montgomery County, leaving the driver critically injured and prompting separate investigations into the collision and the events leading up to it.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff‘s Office, the incident began Friday, October 23, when agents with the 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force were conducting surveillance on a vehicle whose driver allegedly began speeding, weaving through traffic and driving recklessly.
