Friday’s annual Edge Media Group Pink Out brought cancer survivors, community leaders, and supporters together, and the celebration included an emotional tribute to a longtime volunteer and donations to help area breast cancer patients
The event also featured proclamations recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness Month, recognition of local Relay For Life organizations and a reminder that early detection remains one of the most important tools in fighting the disease.
Edge Media Group President and CEO Beth Mann, who helped launch Pink Out following her breast cancer diagnosis in 2010, said the event has grown from a Trigg County gathering into a regional effort reaching Christian, Caldwell, Todd and Hopkins counties…
