Help is on the way: Tornado Recovery Resource Fair to be held Friday in Clarksville

A month after the devastating tornado in Clarksville, in-person help will be available for those who are looking for federal relief.

On Friday, Jan. 26, a tornado recovery resource fair will be held to offer a wide variety of services to aid the tornado survivors. The fair will be at William O. Beach Civic Hall, located at 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 201, Clarksville, TN, 37040.

Participants will have access to informational workshops, one-on-one counseling, resource booths, application assistance, status updates on filed applications and more.

“The City of Clarksville is committed to the long-term recovery of our community in the wake of the December 9 tornado,” said Michelle Austin, Director of Clarksville Neighborhood and Community Services. We recognize the challenges our residents are facing, and we are dedicated to working hand-in-hand with our local organizations to ensure that every resident’s needs are met.”

Clarksville residents impacted by the tornado have several aids available, but you must apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency relief first to receive any form of disaster assistance.
