A nonprofit foundation that was established last year to help finance a child care center in Hopkinsville is growing with a broader purpose in support of public education. The Christian County Public Schools Education Foundation announced its mission, introduced its executive director and thanked major donors during a luncheon Tuesday at the Silo Event Center. About 200 people, including a few dozen public officials, attended the event billed as Champions for Education.
