A Christian County Grand Jury issued indictments for cases regarding drug related crimes, a reported rape, incidents of tampering with a witness and more on Friday. Demario Sanders of Hopkinsville was indicted on two separate incidents from November 2023 regarding drug trafficking. After an incident on November 15 where law enforcement located drugs in a residence on Howell Street, Sanders was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance for fentanyl derivatives, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance for cocaine, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
