To make things easier for the residents of Clarksville, The Finance and Revenue Department announced the inclusion of Saturday hours throughout February till the deadline of February 29th. The Department will open on Saturday hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. starting this Saturday, this will give citizens more time and opportunity to meet up with property tax-related issues.
In September last year, City Property tax bills for both real and personal property gave February 29 as the deadline for payments to be done. Therefore, this ultimatum prompted the city to include Saturdays in February in the service hours to better accommodate citizens’ schedules. The normal business hours from Monday to Friday remain 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Revenue Office located on the 1st floor of City Hall (1 Public Square). For assistance, Residents can also reach out to the North Clarksville City Service Center during normal business hours which is located at 111 Cunningham Lane.
Furthermore, online payment options are also available for the comfort of those who prefer not to visit the Revenue once in person. The property tax bills can be easily settled on the city’s official website at https://www.cityofclarksville.com/173/Property-Tax. This online service allows citizens to manage their property tax payments from the comfort of their homes.
