CLARKSVILLE, TN – Michelle Austin has been elevated to the permanent title of Director of Clarksville Neighborhood & Community Services (CNCS), effective immediately. She is a lifelong resident of Clarksville, with 25 years of experience in public service at the state and local levels of government. Austin spent the past 13 years with Clarksville Parks and Recreation. She worked with that department’s leadership team to acquire national accreditation, thus distinguishing Clarksville as only the second city to receive this accolade.
