The Hopkinsville Salvation Army announced that they will be closing the doors on their thrift store on March 8, in a news release on Friday. According to the news release the closure is occurring as a result of operational challenges and declining sales in recent years. However, the news release shares that the closure will allow for the nonprofit to redirect its efforts to more impactful initiatives.
