Man dead after being hit by car in Clarksville

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A man has died after he was hit by a car in Clarksville Friday evening.

The Clarksville Police Department said the crash happened at around 7:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at the intersection of Ft. Campbell Boulevard and Charlemagne Boulevard.

A vehicle heading north on Ft. Campbell Boulevard struck the pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene, according to investigators.

Police said several lanes of Ft. Campbell Boulevard were closed while crews worked to clear the scene. The roadway has since reopened.

The pedestrian who was hit and killed has not been identified.
