A man was injured and charged following a single-vehicle wreck at East Fourth Street and Mechanic Street Friday afternoon. According to the Hopkinsville Police Department report, investigation revealed that a vehicle had struck a utility pole and a pedestrian crossing sign in the area of East Seventh and Mechanic Street, before the vehicle became disabled and stopped at Belmont and East Ninth.
