Update, 9:33 p.m.: The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Montgomery County until 10 p.m. At 9:30 p.m., severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Guthrie to Slayden, moving southeast at 25 mph with possible 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. “Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees,” the NWS said.
