Clarksville homicide victim’s friends hoping for more answers

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Clarksville authorities said they now know everyone involved in a deadly shooting outside a popular bar last weekend . The victim’s friends and family are hoping that means they’ll get more answers soon.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, a 911 call was made at approximately 11:18 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, about a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of Lyrics Lounge along Fort Campbell Boulevard.

Shortly after, officials were alerted that two men had arrived at Tennova Healthcare’s emergency room suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were reportedly flown to Nashville to be treated for their injuries.

Police said one of the victims — identified as 27-year-old Tikoreus ‘Ty’ Gold of Clarksville — was pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

According to Bob Evans, going to work at Wildcat Chevrolet will never be the same.

“A lot of times, you lose a loved one and you go to work and you’re away from it,” Evans said. “Well, this was our home, and he was definitely a loved one.”
