CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Thanks to local tourism spending, each household in Montgomery County saved almost $500 in state and local taxes in 2023. Visitors to Montgomery County generated $385.6 million in spending in 2023, a 3.84% increase from 2022, according to newly released data from Tourism Economics and the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development.
