A Hopkinsville man and a Clarksville woman were charged with criminal abuse after a request to check the welfare of them and their children on Bethel Street Monday morning. Hopkinsville Police say they were called to the area to check on a woman and child sleeping in a vehicle and found 33-year-old Brittany Oliver, who stated the children were sleeping in the house with her husband.
