Atmos Energy has donated $2 million to food banks across Kentucky, and some of those locations were local. According to a news release, September was Hunger Action Month and Atmos Energy took part in the nationwide campaign to raise awareness about food insecurity and hopeful inspire others to combat hunger. The $2 million Atmos is donating to the cause will help provide food to the facility’s that are critical for helping vulnerable populations that face food supply struggles.
