Big Lots Is Closing Five Locations in KY Due to Bankruptcy

According to a new report by WHAS 11, Big Lots is closing five of its locations in KY due to bankruptcy. According to the report, the OH-based retail company announced that it would be shuttering 50 locations in the next several weeks – five of them being in KY.

According to the report, the locations are 132 Second St. in Henderson, 1980 Pavilion Way in Lexington, 4025 Poplar Level Road, Unit 102, in Louisville, 2601 Fort Campbell Boulevard in Hopkinsville, and 180 Madison Square Drive in Madisonville.

Big Lots had a rough year, the retail giant reported a net loss of $205 million in the quarter ending May 4, 2024.
