Austin Peay State University has announced the commencement of construction on the Karen Edwards Indoor Golf Facility, aimed at enhancing the university’s men’s and women’s golf programs. The facility, boasting 2,500 square feet of space within the Winfield Dunn Center, has been named in honor of the late Karen Edwards, supported by her family’s generous donation. It will feature advanced amenities, including golf simulators, putting greens, and a lounge area, making it a key asset for year-round training despite weather conditions. Athletic Director Gerald Harrison emphasized its significance in advancing the golfing programs and elevating the student-athlete experience.
