Montgomery Co. fire crews respond to garage fire in Saint Bethlehem

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Multiple Montgomery County fire units responded to a shop fire in Saint Bethlehem late Saturday night.

According to the Montgomery County Fire Service, just before midnight, firefighters were called to Sadlersville Road where a structure was reportedly on fire.

When crews arrived, they discovered a two-car detached garage, that doubled as a shop, fully engulfed in flames.

Stations 16, 18 and a rescue squad responded and were able to clear the fire around 1:30 a.m. Photos from the scene show the garage was a complete loss. No injuries were reported.

According to authorities, the fire started from a heat lamp in a chicken coop attached to the garage.

No additional information was immediately available.
