CHEATHAM COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Bodycam video captured the moments Cheatham County deputies chased a wanted man who refused to go to jail quietly.
Deputies said Kenneth Ray Self was wanted in Montgomery County for multiple burglaries, driving on a suspended license and drug paraphernalia charges.
When deputies were asked to pick Self up in Cheatham County, the longtime offender reportedly took off running.
Bodycam video of the incident showed a deputy dashing around the side of a home while pulling out a stun gun. The 49-year-old is then seen sprinting away despite the deputy yelling for him to stop.

In fact, the deputy can be heard stating, “tazer deployed” on bodycam footage as Self becomes still and topples over.
