A mediation could be close in the trial of a Hopkinsville man charged with an April shooting incident near Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Michael Thompson, the attorney for 23-year-old Stephen Bussell, told Circuit Judge Andrew Self and Commonwealth’s Attorney Maureen Leamy during Wednesday’s circuit court session that a resolution in the case could come in a few more weeks.
